3 Days Make-A-Thon format
STEP 1: Team building and preparation. Each team was matched to a client, blind or visually impaired, to hear the story and identify a problem they can solve and scale after.
STEP 2: Brainstorming, group roles to maximizing group performance. Rapid prototyping and feedback from mentors and problem owner.
STEP 3: Digital fabrication manufactoring for final prototype using shenkar’s maker space lab equipped with 3d scanner, 3d printer, cnc milling, lazer cutter etc.
STEP 4: Final presentation including process documenting, decisions making and each individual donation to the final product result.
FASHION WEEK | Design Museum Holon
Collaborative workshop with 3D printing museum for designers where each designer got to design and print a piece for personal use.

FAB 12 | Shenzhen China
The international workshop in Fab12, China about 3D printing and seamless integration, was based on extensive research about how 3D can change and integrate with textile.

3D Printing Techniques
on fabric, as fabric, for fabric!
A workshop on new 3D printing techniques involving 3D printing on fabrics, 3d print instead of fabric, and 3d printed solutions for textile goods. Participants were introduced to the impact and possibilities 3D printing technology offers for the fashion and textile industry. Through practical implementation and using CAD modeling participants experimented in creating new materials, producing accessory connectors for garments and textile products and integrated 3D printed fabrics.
